What to Know About Creating Ringtones

  3. Then insert 30 sec period in the Beginning and Stop bars.
  4. Adjust the stop and start points for the ringtone; however, ensure it should not be more than 30 secs.
  5. Then press the OK option to save the changes and then tap on Play to listen to the clips.
  6. Now tap on the song that you want to select.
  7. Select the File option.
  8. Press Convert.
  9. Choose the Create the AAC Version option.

Export and Move Ringtone to the iPhone

If you want to export and move ringtone, then you can follow the provided steps:

  1. You can export a 30-sec clip by moving the file to the PC or else by right-clicking on it and then select the Show in Finder option.
  2. Right-click on the M4A file and then tap on Rename. Organized up file name then modify file extension from yourfile.M4A to your file.M4R as asked select the Use .m4r option in the dialogue bar.
  3. Then sync your file to the iPhone. It is as straightforward in macOS Catalina as connecting the iPhone using the lightning to USB wire, opening Finder, and locating Finder sidebar below Locations for the iPhone.
  4. Tap on the iPhone to open the sync tab.
  5. Press the Trust option and then insert the Passcode.
  6. Allow the Manually Manage Films, music, or Television shows on General window.
  7. Then drag .M4R file that you have made and transferred in the sync tab.

Apply the Custom Alarm, Ringtone or Alert

  1. Navigate to the Settings.
  2. Click on Sound & Haptics.
  3. Select the Ringtone option.
  4. You may also launch Clock and then make a new alarm using the ringtone, or you can also Apply it for the alert or timer.
  5. Use the ringtone for the contact that you want below Phone and then tap on Contacts.
  6. You can also make the tiny alert sounds and then replace it from the system defaults below Settings.
  7. Click on the Sound and Haptics option.
